MV Tiata Day Charter — Operated by Sunrise Boat Hires
Spend a full day on the water aboard MV Tiata, available for private day charter departing from the Royal Papua Yacht Club (RPYC) to either Bootless Bay or Fisherman's Island and back — Port Moresby's most scenic coastal waters, all in one day.
Charter Details:
- Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (day charter only)
- Capacity: Max 25 guests for the function
- Route: RPYC to Bootless Bay OR Fisherman's Island, and back
- Pick-up/drop-off points: Harbourside East Jetty, Lancron Naval Base, or RPYC — your choice
- Crew: Fully supplied and experienced
Onboard vessel access:
- 5 guest cabins, accommodating up to 12 guests
- 2 toilets
- Galley and kitchen, with fridges and freezers on board
- Additional deck and lounge spaces to relax, socialize, or take in the coastline
Tenders included:
Three support tenders are available throughout the charter, each equipped with GPS, VHF radio linked directly to the RPYC radio base, life jackets, and fishing gear. Each tender carries up to 8 persons at a time — ideal for island stops, fishing breaks, or simply exploring beyond the main vessel.
Food & Beverage:
Not included as standard, but can be arranged and added to your charter on request — from simple catering to a full onboard spread.
